Category 3 Hurricane Bud expected to weaken before hitting Mexico

Hurricane Bud, now a Category 3 storm with winds of 115 mph, continued to spin off Mexico’s west coast Tuesday, the National Hurricane Center said. The hurricane should weaken to a tropical storm before approaching the resorts of the southern Baja California peninsula.
